Bank of China Fully Redeems 30 Billion Yuan of Bonds 5 Years Ahead of Maturity

Bank of China (SHA:601988, HKG:3988) has fully redeemed 30 billion yuan of bonds issued in November 2019, ahead of their maturity in 2029, a Monday bourse filing said.
The lender has exercised an option to redeem the bonds, which comprise 10-year fixed interest rate tier-2 capital bonds, on their fifth anniversary.
