South Korean office suite software developer Hancom (KOSDAQ:030520) collaborated with US-based chipmaker Intel to develop on-device AI solutions that are aimed at enhancing tasks such as drafting and document summarization, Pulse News reported Tuesday.
The partnership focuses on using Hancom's AI solution Hancom Pedia alongside Intel's retrieval-augmented generation technology to provide new user experiences in AI-powered PC environments.
Looking ahead, Hancom and Intel also plan to work with Hancom's edtech subsidiary, Hancom Academy, to develop online and offline educational programs, the report said.
Shares of Hancom fell nearly 3% in recent trade on Wednesday.
