1037 ET - A selloff in Boeing is helping drag down the DJIA in morning trading. Boeing is off 3.7% following a weekend crash of a South Korean passenger plane that killed nearly all of the 181 people on board. The plane, operated by South Korea's Jeju Air, was a Boeing 737-800. Stocks have been under pressure as the year draws to a close. The DJIA fell 333 points on Friday, and is currently off 650 points, or 1.5%, to 42330. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are down 1.6%. Those three benchmarks are up 12%, 23% and 29% year-to-date, respectively. While the stock market will hold regular hours on New Year's Eve, Tuesday, the bond markets will close early at 2 p.m. The stock and bond markets be closed on New Year's Day, Wednesday.
