China Telecom COO Resigns; Hong Kong Shares Rise 3%

China Telecom (HKG:0728, SHA:601728) said Liang Baojun resigned as chief operating officer due to a work transfer, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Hong Kong shares of the company rose 3% in recent trade.
