Oklo Signs Deal With Idaho National Laboratory to Oversee Environmental Regulations for Power Plant

Oklo (OKLO) said Thursday it has signed an interface agreement with the Idaho National Laboratory to adhere to environmental regulations in its building of an Idaho fission power plant.

The deal follows a memorandum of agreement recently finalized with the US Department of Energy, the company said.

Oklo said its strategy to address regulatory and environmental requirements is designed to minimize potential delays and risks for the project, adding that the project is on track in reference to a targeted construction timeline.
