Ubisoft sets up 4 billion euro subsidiary, backed by Tencent

March 27 (Reuters) - French videogame maker Ubisoft UBIP.PA said on Thursday it has set up a subsidiary for its Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six brands.
China's Tencent 0700.HK will invest 1.16 billion euros ($1.25 billion) for a 25% stake in the new subsidiary, valued at about 4 billion euros, the group said in a statement.
