Trump says auto tariffs could be net neutral for Tesla

WASHINGTON, March 26 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Elon Musk did not advise him regarding tariffs on autos, adding that the duties announced on Wednesday could be a net neutral or even good for Musk-headed Tesla Inc TSLA.O.
"He has never asked me for a favor," Trump said of Musk in a briefing with reporters at the White House.
