Amazon (AMZN) has asked third-party merchants on its platform about the impacts of the Trump administration's tariffs on their businesses, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing an email from the company sent to the sellers.
The company has asked about aspects such as sourcing, pricing strategies, and the sellers' use of its logistic services, WSJ reported.
Over 60% of Amazon's sales come from third-party merchants, many of whom source their products from China, according to the report.
Amazon did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
