路透5月30日 - 旧金山联邦储备银行总裁戴利（Mary Daly）周五表示，通胀降温让饱受高物价之苦的美国人“松一口气”，但未来存在通胀走高的风险。
戴利在Fox Business频道的 "Maria Bartiromo's Wall Street"节目中说："今天公布的通胀数字，让美国消费者好好松了口气。"她指的是上个月个人消费支出(PCE)物价指数较上年同期上涨2.1%，是四年来最小同比涨幅。
她说，但这些数据 "并不能完全反映我们作为政策制定者必须关注的情况；我们必须向前看，而且存在风险"。
她重申自己的观点，即货币政策正处于一个良好的位置，如果经济基本面保持强劲且通胀继续下行，她乐于见到今年两次降息。
她说："随着数据的发展，我们实际上可能向上或向下调整，但在我们确定通胀率将达到2%之前，将会维持政策利率拥有温和的限制性。”
