Chatham Rock Phosphate Secures Invitation To Tender For Supply Of Lump Phosphate

Chatham Rock Phosphate (NZE:CRP) has been invited by yellow phosphorus producer Cahya Mata to tender for the supply of lump phosphate in Malaysia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The invitation has further advanced the prospects of its Korella North Mine, and the tender submissions are required by Sept. 18, the filing added.
Yellow phosphorus is used as the base to produce thermal-grade phosphoric acid or purified phosphoric acid that is used in the manufacture of lithium-iron-phosphate batteries.
