Australian Rare Earths Says Uranium Mineralization Identified at South Australia Project, Shares Up 6%

Australian Rare Earths (ASX:AR3) said uranium mineralization was identified within the recently granted exploration licenses EL7079, EL7080, and EL7081, forming part of the Overland project in South Australia, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
Assays from historic core drilling in the Sedan area, as well as a review of legacy geological data, defined two extensive sedimentary-hosted uranium target zones, the Western 'Flank' Zone and the Basal Sandy Unit.
The firm will conduct data integration and a geophysical review to inform a drilling program for the new target areas.
Its shares rose 6% in recent trading on Thursday.
