Webjet Group Receives Takeover Offer From Helloworld Travel

MT Newswires Live11-19

Webjet Group (ASX:WJL) received a non-binding and indicative offer from 17.27% stakeholder Helloworld Travel (ASX:HLO) to acquire the shares of the company it does not already own at AU$0.90 apiece via a scheme of arrangement, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The deal is conditional and will be funded through cash and new debt facilities, the filing said.

The company's board decided to grant Helloworld due diligence, and recommended shareholders not to take action in relation to the offer.
