Auckland International Airport Says High Court Declines Merits Review Appeal

Auckland International Airport (ASX:AIA, NZE:AIA) said the High Court declined the merits review appeal filed by the New Zealand Airports Association and Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch International Airports regarding the cost of capital in the Commerce Commission's airport services input methodologies amendment determination, according to a Monday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The company expects the Commission to consult on amendments to address coding errors in 2026, the filing said.
Meanwhile, Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) and Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) have appealed the Court's decision, the filing added.
Air New Zealand's Australian shares rose 1% in recent Monday trade.
