Pressures including U.S. tariffs, AI-related disruption and more pummeled five companies in 2025 to the point that they had their worst annual performance in at least 20 years, according to Dow Jones Market Data.

-- A roughly 38% decline by would be the bleach-maker's steepest drop since 1974.

-- Drinks-maker 37% drop puts it on pace for its worst loss since 1987.

-- 22% tumble is on track to be the insurer's toughest year since 1990.

-- 49% thrashing would be its worst beating since 1998.

-- IT firm 48% plunge has set it up for its biggest retreat since 2000.
