Delta Air Lines' International Growth Likely More Focused On Pacific Region in 2026 -- Market Talk
Dow Jones01-08 02:09
1308 ET - Delta Air Lines is likely to see international growth this year more focused in the Pacific region, where the post-pandemic recovery has been most sluggish, TD Cowen analyst Tom Fitzgerald writes in a note. The company is resuming its service to Hong Kong this year for the first time since 2018, and is also launching flights to Melbourne. Fitzgerald says schedules also show outsized growth for Shanghai. He thinks that growth in Atlantic routes will be focused on unique markets like Malta vs. flying into partner hubs. (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
