Treasury sells 8 billion euros 12-month BOT bills. Subscriptions close at 1000 GMT.
The Finance ministry said on Thursday it would sell up to 4 billion euros ($4.66 billion) in 3-year BTP bonds at an auction on January 13.
Investors bid for nearly 13 times the 20 billion euros that Italy raised in a debt sale on Thursday, in a sign of confidence in the euro zone's third-largest economy.
