China Eastern Airlines' Passenger Count Rises Nearly 6% in December 2025

China Eastern Airlines' (SHA:600115, HKG:0670) passenger count grew 5.7% to about 11.8 million in December 2025, from 11.1 million in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Shares rose 1% in Hong Kong during morning trade Friday.
Passenger capacity rose 4.9% to about 25.3 billion available seat kilometers from 24.1 billion available seat-kilometers in the prior-year period.
Cargo capacity increased 5.7% year over year to 858.9 million available freight tonne-kilometers from 812.3 million available freight-tonne kilometers.
Cargo carried jumped 4.9% year on year to 99.69 million kilograms from 95.01 million kilograms.
