U.S. F-35 Makes Emergency Landing at Base After Iran Mission -- WSJ

A U.S. F-35 jet fighter made an emergency landing at an American air base in the Middle East after flying a combat mission over Iran, according to a spokesman for U.S. Central Command.

The aircraft landed safely and the pilot is in stable condition, said Centcom spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins. The incident is under investigation. CNN earlier reported the incident.
