France's Macron Calls for Moratorium on Targeting Civilian Infrastructure -- WSJ

French President Emmanuel Macron called for an immediate moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, whether related to water or to energy in the Middle East.
"It is time to open a path towards de-escalation in order to restore stability in the Middle East," Macron said on X. France has deployed the Charles de Gaulle aircraft-carrier battle group, eight frigates and two amphibious helicopter carriers in the eastern Mediterranean, in the Red Sea and off the Strait of Hormuz.
