1357 ET - The number of rigs drilling for oil in the U.S. increased by two this week to 414, and was down by 72 from a year ago, Baker Hughes reports. Natural gas rigs fell by two this week to 131, or 29 more than a year ago. Crude oil prices have turned higher, with light crude oil futures up 2.9% to $98.30 a barrel and Brent crude is up 2.1% to $110.89 a barrel. Natural gas futures are down 3.1% to $3.07 per mmBtu.
