Hermes (FR:RMS), Kering (FR:KER): The maker of Birkin bags reported slowing sales as the Iran war weighed on demand, and Gucci owner Kering's sales fell, a day after industry bellwether LVMH also flagged weakness. Hermes and Kering stock slumped in Paris.
ASML (NL:ASML, ASML): The company, which sells chip-making equipment, lifted its guidance thanks to continued strong demand for AI chips. Its shares gained in Amsterdam.
Bank of America (BAC), Morgan Stanley $(MS)$: The financial heavyweights are set to report earnings today, after rivals Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase posted bumper quarterly trading revenue earlier this week.
Broadcom $(AVGO)$: The chipmaker's shares climbed in premarket trading after it expanded its partnership with Meta Platforms to provide the Facebook parent with more custom artificial-intelligence chips.
