Latvia Issues 1 Bln Euros in 2033-Dated Sustainability Bond -- Update

Latvia issued 1 billion euros ($1.16 billion) in a June 2033-dated sustainability bond via a bank syndicate on Wednesday, one of the joint lead manager banks said.

The final book size was in excess of 2.4 billion euros, excluding joint lead manager demand--somewhat lower than the initial data available at book close.

The spread on the bond was set at mid-swaps plus 60 basis points, having tightened from the initial guidance of mid-swaps plus 75 basis points area, the same bank said.

The bond has a 3.5% coupon and it was priced at 99.847, at a yield of 3.525%, the same bank said.

BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole CIB were the lead managers of the transaction.
