Tesla's (TSLA) new car registrations increased across several European markets in May, extending the recent recovery in the company's regional sales, Reuters reported Monday.
Registrations rose 655% year-over-year in France to 5,446 vehicles; 29% in Norway to 3,345 vehicles; 136% in Denmark to 1,750 vehicles; 113% in Spain to 1,690 vehicles; 349% in Portugal to 1,463 vehicles, and 71% in Sweden to 858 vehicles, according to the report.
Meanwhile, registrations in Italy fell 23.5% to 654 vehicles, Reuters reported.
TP ICAP Midcap analyst Julien Thomas said the Model Y captured "significant demand" in the SUV segment, the report added.
