Tesla's (TSLA) sales of its China-made electric vehicles rose by 39.4% year on year in May, to 85,982 units, CNBC reported Wednesday, citing data from the China Passenger Car Association.
Data also showed that a total of 1.36 million passenger electric vehicles were sold across China's domestic EV manufacturers in May, according to the report.
Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
