Novo Nordisk's (NVO) Wegovy received approval from India's drug regulator for use in patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, or MASH, Reuters reported Friday.
MASH is a serious fatty liver disease that can cause inflammation and liver damage, according to the report.
Novo Nordisk did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
