President Donald Trump on August 6 attacked filmmaker Michael Moore and a person named Abdul on social media platform X, calling Moore a "failed political pundit" and a "LOWLIFE" who has been losing to him for years. Trump wrote that Moore ranted, "We lost in 2024, and just can't take it anymore," and responded, "No Michael, just get used to more losing! You've been a Loser all your life, and nothing's going to change."
Trump also targeted Abdul, whom he described as Moore's "new Communist Comrade," saying Abdul "knows you are a failed LOWLIFE, and he wants to pick up where you have left." The President asserted that "For thousands of years, the concept of Communist Policies have never worked, and they're not going to work now," especially under what he called the "tremendous transformational SUCCESS that the Trump Administration has brought forth, for the entire World to see and follow — Best Economic Numbers, EVER, Best Trade Numbers, Best Export Numbers, Biggest Investment in our Country, and on, and on."
Trump concluded by declaring that America is in a "Golden Age" and that a "small group of misfits, like you, Abdul, and others, won't be able to destroy it." He ended with the campaign slogan "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
