President Donald Trump congratulated Senator Marsha Blackburn on her victory in the Tennessee gubernatorial primary, posting on X on August 7. Trump described Blackburn’s win as “tremendous” and noted she defeated a “very strong and talented opponent, John Rose.”
“Marsha now must go on to the next step, where she is running against a Radical Left Dumocrat who does not represent the Values of Tennessee, a State which I won all three times, in Historic Numbers,” Trump wrote. He predicted that Blackburn would “decisively win” and that Tennessee under her leadership would “go on to set Records in every category.”
Trump also gave Blackburn his “Complete and Total Endorsement” to become the next governor, stating, “I know Marsha well, and she has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Governor of the Great State of Tennessee.” The post, signed “President DONALD J.
