Trump credited his administration's "strong position and pressure" over the past year and a half for leading dozens of U.S. hospitals to end what he termed "gender-affirming care" for minors, predicting more hospitals would follow. He framed the decision as a contrast between his Republican Party and the Democratic Party, which he accused of allowing children to "chop off their reproductive organs before they are old enough to vote."
In his post, Trump urged voters to remember the issue when casting ballots in the November midterm elections, saying, "President Donald J. Trump (ME!) and the Republican Party say that is ABSURD, and we will protect America's children."
