Dauch Faces Several Headwinds in H2, Including GM's Light-Duty Pickup Truck Launch, RBC Says

MT Newswires Live08-10 23:59

Dauch (DCH) faces several headwinds in the second half of 2026, including the phased launch of General Motors' (GM) next-generation light-duty pickup truck, RBC Capital Markets analysts said in a Friday note.

The analysts said that seasonality is also expected to weigh on production in H2, with volumes in North America and Europe set for a sequential decline of 4% and 8%, respectively.

RBC said these pressures will be partially offset by synergy capture following its acquisition of Dowlais Group and a decline in restructuring cash payments.

The analysts said that primary growth drivers for Dauch are the GM truck launch and continued synergy ramp toward the $180 million target by the second year.

RBC said that the company's Investor Day in November could be an important catalyst for the stock.

RBC has an outperform rating and a $11 price target on the stock.
