President Donald Trump on August 10 endorsed Senator Tommy Tuberville, a former college football coach, in his campaign for Governor of Alabama. In a post on X, Trump praised Tuberville as a "Highly Respected Senator" and "true WINNER," highlighting his record as a U.S. Senator and SEC Championship-winning coach.
Trump stated, "As your next Governor, 'Coach' will work tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, Safeguard our Elections, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment."
The President noted his previous endorsement of Tuberville in the 2020 Senate race and said he is "honored to do so again." Trump concluded, "Tommy Tuberville has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Governor of the Great State of Alabama — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
