President Donald Trump on August 13 issued a full endorsement of Republican Congressman Andrew Garbarino, who represents New York’s 2nd Congressional District, calling him a “Fierce Advocate for Long Island.”
In a statement posted on social media, Trump praised Garbarino’s “incredible Record of Success” and “strong support from his Community,” detailing the congressman’s efforts to grow the economy, cut taxes and regulations, secure the border, support the military and veterans, champion American energy dominance, and protect the Second Amendment. “Andrew Garbarino has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election – HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” Trump wrote.
Garbarino, first elected in 2020, is seeking another term representing the district covering parts of Suffolk and Nassau counties on Long Island.
