President Donald Trump on August 13 announced his endorsement of Catalina Lauf for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 19th Congressional District, calling her an "America First Patriot" and a former Presidential Appointee at the U.S. Department of Commerce during his first administration.
"It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Catalina Lauf, who is running to represent the tremendous people of Florida’s 19th Congressional District!" Trump wrote on social media. He praised Lauf for having "the Courage and Wisdom to deliver strong results" and said she has "truly been with us from the beginning."
Trump outlined Lauf's policy priorities: growing the economy, cutting taxes and regulations, promoting "MADE IN THE U.S.A.," unleashing American energy dominance, securing the border, stopping migrant crime, supporting the military and veterans, advancing election integrity, and defending the Second Amendment. He concluded with a full endorsement: "Catalina Lauf has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Congresswoman from Florida’s 19th Congressional District — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
