Trump: Endorses Nick LaLota for re-election

President Donald Trump on August 13 posted on X a full endorsement of Congressman Nick LaLota, who is seeking re-election in New York's 1st Congressional District. Trump praised LaLota, a U.S. Navy veteran, as doing a "truly fantastic job" representing the district and highlighted his work on border security, tax cuts, and support for the military.

"Nick LaLota is doing a truly fantastic job representing the incredible people of New York’s 1st Congressional District!" Trump wrote. The President cited LaLota's efforts to "Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment." Trump also noted that LaLota successfully increased the SALT deduction for working people in New York.
