Trump: Endorses Mike Mazzei for Oklahoma governor, attacks Drummond

Trump's Truth Social latest posts08-13

President Donald Trump on August 12 endorsed Mike Mazzei for governor of Oklahoma and sharply criticized his runoff opponent, Gentner Drummond, calling him a "FAKE Republican" who donated to Joe Biden and the anti-American "Lincoln Project."

In a post on X, Trump highlighted Mazzei's support for a new aluminum plant in Inola, Oklahoma, which he described as "one of the best projects ever conceived" and a major job creator. Trump said the plant, fully financed, would be the largest in the country and that Drummond had "sued, unsuccessfully, to block it." Trump also noted that Drummond expressed "no opinion" on what Trump called the "BOGUS IMPEACHMENT" of himself, and that Drummond sued to block a religious-based charter school supported by Trump's administration.

Trump emphasized his own electoral record in Oklahoma, claiming he was the "ONLY President to win ALL 77 Counties in three straight Elections" and that he won more votes than any candidate in the state's history. He urged voters to support Mazzei in the August 25 runoff, declaring, "Mike Mazzei has my COMPLETE and TOTAL Endorsement for Governor!"
