President Donald Trump on August 13 endorsed Kailee Buller, the former chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Agriculture during his administration, for New York’s 22nd Congressional District, calling her an "America First Patriot" who has "the Courage and Wisdom to deliver strong results."
In a post on X, Trump praised Buller’s loyalty, stating, "She has truly been with us from the beginning!" He contrasted her with her opponent, state Senator John Mannion, accusing Mannion of voting against "NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY" and warning that if Mannion and "the Dumocrats" win, those tax cuts would be terminated. Trump further claimed Mannion supports "massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender Mutilization of your Children" and suggested Thanksgiving would be at risk under a Mannion victory.
Trump outlined Buller’s platform: "She will work hard to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Support our Amazing Farmers and Ranchers, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Strengthen our Military, Veterans, and Law Enforcement, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment." He concluded with a full endorsement: "Kailee Buller has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Congresswoman from New York’s 22nd Congressional District — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
