MS&AD Insurance (TYO:8725) has agreed to invest in a new UK Pension Risk Transfer partnership, to be established by Standard Life alongside global financial institutions including CVC Capital Partners and Prudential Financial.
MS&AD committed up to 200 million pounds sterling in staged investments, and will have the right to appoint an observer to the partnership's board upon completion, which is expected in the first half of 2027.
MS&AD's holds a 14.4% stake in Standard Life.
