7-Eleven Malaysia Concludes Land Purchase for Food Commissary

7-Eleven Malaysia (KLSE:SEM) subsidiary, QVI Foods, completed the acquisition of a parcel of freehold land in Selangor, according to a Thursday filing with Bursa Malaysia.
The convenience store operator had agreed to buy the roughly 92,564 square foot agricultural site for 19 million ringgit through its unit, with plans to develop a food commissary to move upstream into food production.
