FedEx, UPS Awarded $2.72 Billion Contract Modifications by Transportation Command

FedEx (FDX) and United Parcel Service (UPS) were awarded modified contracts, worth $2.72 billion each, by the US Transportation Command for continued express and ground small package delivery services under the Next Generation Delivery Service-2 program, the US Department of Defense said Thursday.

The option period of performance is from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30, 2030, according to a statement.
