ICBC Issues 60 Billion Yuan Bonds for Tier-2 Capital Boost

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (SHA:601398, HKG:1398) completed the issuance of bonds worth 60 billion yuan, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The debt securities have a 10-year term and a coupon rate of 1.81%, with a conditional issuer redemption option at the end of the fifth year.
Proceeds will help boost the bank's Tier 2 capital.
