Anthropic PBC is set to add Citigroup to the banks working on its initial public offering, as Wall Street competes for roles on the AI firm's potential listing, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Citigroup would join Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan among the top advisers on the deal, Bloomberg said. Anthropic is considering filing for a listing as soon as the end of August, according to the report.
Deliberations remain ongoing, with more banks expected to be added to the lineup, Bloomberg said.
Representatives for Anthropic and Citigroup declined to comment.
Citigroup previously joined a group of banks that agreed to a $2.5 billion revolving credit line with Anthropic, Bloomberg said.
