Lifestyle Communities (ASX:LIC) said the Supreme Court of Victoria, Court of Appeal rejected the company's appeal of deferred management fee orders issued by Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal President Justice Woodward, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The orders, issued in July 2025 in relation to deferred management fees based on the resale price of a home, were upheld by the court.
Lifestyle Communities said it has recognized a provision for the repayment of fees collected from previous homeowners who were impacted by the orders.
The company also amended its deferred management fee calculation method to align with the original July 2025 ruling, and the fees are now based on the purchase price and pro-rated over five years to a maximum of 20% of the price.
Lifestyle Communities shares gained 4% in recent Friday trade.
