Trump: Supreme Court rulings are a national disaster

Trump's Truth Social latest posts09-15

President Trump on September 15 criticized the U.S. Supreme Court on social media platform X, calling a series of recent rulings a “complete and total disaster” for the country. He specifically targeted decisions on mail-in voting, tariffs, and birthright citizenship, claiming they would cost the U.S. trillions of dollars and enable the “Radical Left Democrats” to cheat through mail-in ballots.

Trump said, “Their horrible decision on Tariffs will be costing the U.S.A., for many years to come, Trillions and Trillions of Dollars.” He praised Justices Alito and Thomas for dissenting, calling them “legends,” while accusing other justices of being “petrified of these crazed and depraved Democrats.” He also claimed that the justices he interviewed for the Court are now “merely a shell of their original selves” and that their rulings have “set America back at least a hundred years.”

Trump concluded that the Supreme Court has “let our Country down” and that its decisions represent “irreparable and unrecoverable harm.” He said he felt it his “obligation and duty as President” to speak out, despite potential personal cost.
