Amazon (AMZN), Microsoft (MSFT), Figma (FIG), Workday (WDAY) and other big software firms are offering discounts on AI products to retain customers and prevent them from turning to Anthropic and OpenAI, The Information reported Tuesday, citing its own reporting and sources.
Adobe (ADBE) is offering free access for AI products like Adobe Firefly, while Amazon is offering 90-day free trials for its AI assistant, Amazon Quick. Figma has cut the costs of credits to use AI products like Figma Make, while HubSpot (HUBS) is providing free trials to try AI agents like Breeze Assistant.
Finally, Microsoft is offering discounts for Copilot subscription costs, and Workday is letting top customers use its AI platform for free for one year, the report said.
Microsoft declined to comment, while the other companies didn't immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
