Flapping Airplanes Isn't Ready to IPO Yet

Dow Jones10-24 02:19

1419 ET - Flapping Airplanes co-founder Asher Spector says the AI company isn't ready to go public yet. The company, which aims to make AI development and training more efficient, was founded about a year ago and just raised $1 billion in a Series A funding round valuing it at $6 billion. Asher tells CNBC that the funding round was more based on technical progress and there is still more work to be done to commercialize its products in a sustainable way. Flapping Airplanes is focused on providing solutions to AI models and software companies that will use less computing and data to train AI.
