$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Nio should be at $76 if the stock market wasn't being manipulated by the US. Look at Nio's figures, which are 8x better compared with RIVN. $76 would be the level today if Nio grew as slowly as RIVN. Since Nio's sales are growing much faster, it should be even above $76. That's the reality while US analysts keep RIVN up and keep reducing Nio. US analysts are a joke.
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Added under HKD29 and will keep adding all month at this level. When you have as much cash on hand as your market cap and a moat as wide as Nio's, you know you're very close to the bottom. Been doing this 32 years, and the last time I saw a screaming buy like this was when Nvidia was trading at 40 cents in 2013 — and I only took a very small position. Not making that mistake again.
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Nio Inc.'s entry-level brand Firefly will launch a 60 kWh battery pack before the end of this year, and a convertible version of the debut model is in the pre-research phase, brand president Daniel Jin confirmed at a ceremony in Hefei, as the brand marked its 80,000th vehicle delivery. The price is $18,000 including the battery.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Tesla may be taking a major step toward mass-producing Optimus. Reports suggest Tesla has placed an initial order for ~5,000 robots, with production potentially reaching 15,000 this year and 2,000–2,500 per week by year-end. The key shift: Optimus may be moving from prototype to scalable manufacturing. Still plenty to prove, but if Tesla executes, this could become much bigger than just a robotics project.
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Moving on to Q4 earnings projections with a first preliminary snapshot. Using the company's estimates: more than 120K deliveries, an 18.5% gross margin, and an ASP of $41.5K. That ASP could be what the company is projecting for Q3. That said, if NIO brand sales, mainly the ES8/ES9, keep growing and take up a larger share of the overall mix, Q4 ASP could move higher. In December 2025, 22,276 ES8s were sold, so this wouldn't be far-fetched at all. Being very conservative here, let's use an ASP of $42K. Revenue: $5.040B from vehicle sales, and I would assume other income comes in around $500M. Using $5.5B as the base. Gross profit: $1.017B OpEx: $850M Net profit: $167M Full-year 2026 net profit: $140M
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Not bad at all. On 2027, Li avoided giving a specific unit target, saying that with their lineup and commercial/service coverage, they expect 40-50% annual volume growth over the medium to long term. 2027 between 600K and 650K units? What? He also confirmed the 2027 product cycle: NIO: new 5 and 6 Series models. ONVO: one major strategic new product. Firefly: keeping a single model, but getting new editions and technology upgrades. The Q4 call was pretty strong overall: 40K/month in Q4, margins defended despite RMB 16-17K of extra cost per vehicle, ES8/ES9 above 20% margins, and 40-50% annual growth in the medium/long term. Also worth noting: ES9 currently has a 3-4 month delivery wait, and incremental orders from July to Augus
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ In just the first three sessions of September, volume has already hit the equivalent of 50% of all of August's total, and 60% of July's. That looks like the first strong signal that a rebound or rally could be close.
Nice to see my $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ position up 4.8% and starting to build some momentum. Price just tagged the prior week high at $366.5. I'd like to see it close above that level. $374 is the earnings gap close.
