This would mark a year-over-year decline of 2.58%. With its share price on a downtrend ever since, the upcoming Q4 revenue will be on watch to validate if its sales growth can outperform.</p><p>&#34;Our outlook reflects the significant uncertainty we face in the fourth quarter in light of continued headwinds from Apple&#39;s iOS 14 changes, and macroeconomic and COVID-related factors,&#34; explained Facebook&#39;s chief financial officer in the company&#39;s fourth-quarter earnings call.</p><p>One of the key performance metric, the average revenue per user (ARPU), may also be in focus. Seasonally, Q4 tends to see the ARPU figure pull ahead from the other quarters, considering that the year-end holiday season may see greater ramp-up for business advertising. That said, Apple&#39;s iOS 14 changes which require apps to seek users’ permission for data collection and sharing remains a weighing factor. This comes in the form of potentially reducing Meta Platforms’ accuracy for ads targeting and limiting their ad pricing as a result. We have seen the impact surface in Q3, with its ARPU declining 1.2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), in what should traditionally be an increase. With that, any further impact on the holiday-driven Q4 will continue to be on watch in measuring Meta Platforms’ ability to mitigate these changes.</p><p><b>User growth</b></p><p>Facebook continues to consistently grow its user base nicely. In the company&#39;s third quarter, total unique monthly users across the company&#39;s family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp) rose 6% year over year. A challenging supply environment for TVs doesn't help, either.</p>\n<h2>Attractive fundamentals</h2>\n<p>Zooming out from these challenges and observing the company's general performance trends over the past year, there's good reason to believe this may be a great buying opportunity. For instance, while Roku missed analysts' third-quarter revenue forecasts, it's not like growth was slow. Roku's third-quarter revenue rose 51% year over year. Its platform revenue (primarily Roku's share of subscription and advertising sales on its platform), which accounts for more than 85% of its total revenue, increased 82% year over year.</p>\n<p>Roku is also hitting a tipping point in its operating leverage -- its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) is soaring even faster than revenue. Adjusted EBITDA in the third quarter of 2021 surged 132% year over year, climbing from $56.2 million in the year-ago period to $130 million.</p>\n<p>Of course, there are risks Roku investors should be aware of. If competition intensifies, the company's long-term growth potential could become more uncertain. Further, management guided for a meaningful slowdown in its year-over-year revenue growth rate in Q4 as the company faces a tough year-ago comparison. After being priced at $17 per share, the stock has jumped nearly 70% to $28.73 per share.\nHowever, some of the biggest investment firms are tepid on the stock after that strong start. A slate of initiations on Monday showed that Wall Street is split on how Oatly should be valued.\nJefferies, which was involved in Oatly’s IPO, has a buy rating and one of the highest price targets on the stock at $34 per share. Guggenheim Securities is similarly bullish at $32 per share and projected significant growth for the company.\n“The company is in the early stages of a long-term growth story that could generate double-digit annual sales growth for at least the next 10 years if it continues to invest heavily in capacity expansion,” Guggenheim said in a note to clients.\nJPMorgan, however, gave the stock a neutral rating and a $24 price target, saying that competition in the space is sure to increase and clouds the outlook for the company.\n“Oatly may have to raise more capital within a couple of years, and we view the stock as slightly overvalued (with volatility likely ahead).
