But Apple is still attempting to upsell consumers more than ever before.</p><p>The standard iPhone, which starts at $799, doesn’t even run Apple’s latest processor, the A16. Instead, it uses the same A15 chip as last year, with the A16 going into the Pro models. The Pro phones also get significant camera improvements and a new interface called the Dynamic Island.</p><p>That’s left users with less reason to upgrade to a basic iPhone 14, but plenty of incentive to pay a little more for the Pro. A flurry of carrier promotions and trade-in offers also may coax consumers into buying a glitzier model.</p><p>Apple reshuffled its display configurations this year as well. Gone is the mini version of the iPhone. Instead, the company is betting that consumers want more screen real estate. The stock has whipsawed between gains and losses in recent trading sessions, with the shares suffering their worst single-day rout since 2020 on Tuesday. retail development in Singapore.</p><p>For its fiscal 2022’s first half (1H2022) ended 31 December 2021, LREIT reported a 5.8% year on year fall in gross revenue to S$39.2 million.</p><p>NPI dipped by 2.5% year on year to S$29.6 million but DPU inched up 2.6% year on year to S$0.024.</p><p>The REIT recently concluded the purchase of a remaining stake in Jem mall and has projected a rise in DPU for 1H2022 to S$0.0249 as a result.</p><p>Based on the annualised DPU of S$0.0498, units of LREIT offer a prospective distribution yield of around 6.4%.</p><p>Jem mall has also recently completed asset industrial and commercial properties spread across five countries – Singapore, Australia, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.</p><p>AUM stood at S$6.7 billion as of 31 March 2022.</p><p>For its 1H2022 ended 31 March 2022, FLCT reported a 1.7% year on year improvement in revenue to S$253.7 million.</p><p>Adjusted NPI increased by 3.6% year on year while DPU edged up 1.3% year on year to S$0.0385.</p><p>Annualised DPU for FY2022 stands at S$0.077, giving FLCT’s units a prospective distribution yield of 5.7%.</p><p>The REIT has announced two acquisitions last month to boost its asset base.</p><p>The first is the acquisition of three fully-occupied freehold logistics and industrial properties in Victoria, Australia, for S$60.4 million.</p><p>The second involves the acquisition and 1Q2022, with gross revenue and NPI rising by 8.5% and 5.4% year on year, respectively.</p><p>Income available for distribution increased by 7.1% year on year to €23.3 million.</p><p>CEREIT’s portfolio occupancy remains high at 94.8% as of 31 March 2022, and the REIT also reported a positive rental reversion of 4.2% for the quarter.</p><p>Aggregate leverage stood at 38.6% and the REIT enjoyed a low Apple’s own payment system takes a 30% cut from large developers.</p>\n<p>Data from the app tracker SensorTower shows that in calendar 2020, Apple had overall revenue from the App Store of $72.3 billion, generating an estimated $21.7 billion in fees, or about 7% of Apple’s overall revenues. That includes $21 billion in spending in the U.S., generating about $6.3 billion in fees, or about 2% of annualized revenues.</p>\n<p>SensorTower estimates that mobile-game spending in the App Store in calendar 2020 was $47.6 billion, generating $14.3 billion in fees, or a little under 5% of Apple’s total revenues.</p>\n<p>Gene Munster, managing director of the venture firm Loup Capital and a former sell-side analyst with a long history of tracking Apple, estimated that the App Store accounts for about 14% of the company’s profits. But he sees limited risk from Friday’s ruling.</p>\n<p>Munster thinks most app developers will stay inside of the Apple system. He sees “at most” a 2% headwind to overall revenue, and a potential 4% hit to profits.</p>\n<p>“After the first year of these changes, app store growth rates will return to normal,” he said. “Bottom line, it’s at most a one-year headwind and does not change the big picture of where Apple is going over the next 5 years.”</p>\n<p>Evercore ISI analyst Amit Daryanani said in a research note that the ruling is a setback for Apple, but that the eventual impact is likely to be manageable, given Apple has alternative ways to generate revenue from the store, including its growing in-store ad business. And he noted that Apple actually got a win on a bigger issue in the case: The judge rejected Epic’s assertion that the App Store is an illegal monopoly. Daryanani estimated the risk to Apple’s per-share earnings at 2% to 4%.</p>\n<p>Wedbush analyst Dan Ives told&nbsp;<i>Barron’s</i>&nbsp;he thinks the worst-case scenario is a 3% to 4% hit to revenues, describing the risk as a “rounding error.” While Ives said the Street had expected an across-the-board win for Apple, the mixed decision removes an overhang on the stock and that investors are likely relieved to put the issue to rest.</p>\n<p>The ruling is more a positive for companies like&nbsp;Spotify Technology&nbsp;and&nbsp;Match Group&nbsp;than it is a negative for Apple, he said. Apple’s own payment system takes a 30% cut from large developers.\nData from the app tracker SensorTower shows that in calendar 2020, Apple had overall revenue from the App Store of $72.3 billion, generating an estimated $21.7 billion in fees, or about 7% of Apple’s overall revenues. That includes $21 billion in spending in the U.S., generating about $6.3 billion in fees, or about 2% of annualized revenues.\nSensorTower estimates that mobile-game spending in the App Store in calendar 2020 was $47.6 billion, generating $14.3 billion in fees, or a little under 5% of Apple’s total revenues.\nGene Munster, managing director of the venture firm Loup Capital and a former sell-side analyst with a long history of tracking Apple, estimated that the App Store accounts for about 14% of the company’s profits.
