The Jan effect is caused by negative news such as market sentiment on the Fed's cutting rate, US economy, etc.,, but the market can turn rally if the market situation improved. This Jan effect can happen in Fed or March, any month of the year if the primary concerns remain. My Jan's 1st week portfolio is more red than green. In short term strategy, waiting for the next few trading opportunities to make the portfolio less red and greener. [Miser].

Love the personalized 2023 annual report that gives me a snapshot of my investment performance/activities. As it is the first online brokerage I used this year and the only one among other accounts that shows me more promising results of my portfolio, it will be my favorite platform going forward. Truly impressed with such a report that tracked all the trades/activities/events and interactions that I have with community members. [smile]

Believe in goal setting for 2024 although not achieving profit set for 2023. Well, personal experience of a case is what thought to be great stocks can end up underperforming due to changes to micro and macro- environments.  Goal settings help  when monitoring the stock performance closely to achieve the expected outcomes e.g., the % of returns of stocks or $ to recover from stock losses.

In a brief moments, this game alert my mind.

Feel like Meta is in the range of $320-385, with a mix of my rational and emotional connection with the stock.
