$SEMBCORP MARINE LTD(S51.SI)$so the news is out that the shareprice of Newco will be $0.07c. then what is the point of getting into this stock now when after everything, the new stock is only going to be $0.07 when it merges?Someone pls correct me if my understanding is wrong? This merger is getting damn confusing. Why is the analyst still indicating a buy for keppel and a sell for sembmarine now when at the end of it, they will be merging into 1 new company? Someone pls enlighten me. Thanks!

Read on the papers that they will merge into a new company and the sembmarine shares we have will move to a company called newco 1:1. Will this then mean that if the newco 's opening share price is $1/share, we will gain 89c/share?
