Christmas is close. which stocks would benefit?

caught in a downtrend is the worst especially if you are invested. This basically means your investment has shrunk. Missing a rally isok, your net position has not changed. Just missed an opportunity for growth. 

I have bought a rolex. It holds its value and is hence can be seen as an investment only if it is a limited edition product because it has rarity. Rolex is also good because it is a known brand.

I usually use a combination of RSI and 50day MA to select a stock to determine if it is oversold or not. But this only works if you also consider if the company has fundamental changes like going into liquidation or issuingrights.
